Have you ever stepped on a scale wishing and hoping that all your hard work will pay off, only to see that the number didn't budge?
The healthy eating you did along with the consistent exercising only to be disappointed in the end?
WELL, I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU!
It's not YOU, It"s the SCALE. Here's why.
Significant changes are happening in your body that the scale can’t measure or detect.
When you exercise, you gain muscle, raise your metabolism and lose fat, but that fat loss won’t always show up on the scale, unfortunately.
The thing about Muscle is that it takes up less space than fat. In result making, you look slimmer, and it’s more metabolically active.
The more muscle you carry, the more calories your body burns.
So what's an excellent way to track fat loss?
The best way to track fat loss is by how your clothes fit, measurements of your body and a before picture always does the trick.
You know what clothes fit tight so if that shirt or pair of pants starts to become loose chances are you're losing fat.
The muscle you gain can be tracked by merely noticing that a body part doesn't jiggle and or feel soft anymore.
That area that starts to feel hard and tight; you should be able to flex it somewhat.
So be sure to take pictures, measurements and pay attention to how your clothes fit.
The best of all, be happy in your skin. It's your body and your doing something about it so be PATIENT!
Please don't be so hard on yourself with the number, fat loss can be complicated and your body will do whatever it wants at times.
